Exodus: Called to Freedom

This Fall's Adult Education offering is Exodus: Called to Freedom. When God sent Moses and Aaron to bring Israel out of Egypt it was a defining moment in Israel’s history. More than just seeking to free his people from the domination of Pharaoh, God desired to free his people from the even more dangerous grip of sin. The presenter, Tim Gray, explains how the Exodus story is not just Israel’s story but our story as well because it reveals who God is and what he calls us to be. You will discover the divine purpose behind the plagues on Egypt, learn the keys to authentic freedom and understand how Exodus can enlighten our understanding of our own Christian Faith. 

This 10 session study begins on Thursday, September 7, 2023 and will end Tuesday, November 21, 2023. No sessions will be held during the week of the Parish's 40 Hours Devotion (Thursday, September 21, through Tuesday, September 26).

Cost of the study is $27.00.

If you are new to the parish or just have not taken advantage of the Sacred Heart Parish's adult education offerings in the past, this is a great time to join us.

This study begins Thursday, September 7, 2023 and concludes Tuesday, November 21, 2023.

Sessions are as follows:

• Thursday evening at St. George starting at 7:00 PM
• Friday morning at Sacred Heart starting after morning Mass (9:45 AM)
• Sunday evening at Sacred Heart starting at 6:30 PM.
• Monday morning at Sacred Heart starting after morning Mass (9:45 AM)
• Monday evening at Sacred Heart starting at 7:00 PM
• Tuesday afternoon at St. George starting at 1:00 PM

Cost for the study materials is $27. Payment will be collected at the first class. If you need assistance covering the cost of the study materials, please contact the Parish office. Please indicate on your registration if you will be sharing your study materials with another participant. Registration is closed.
